最近、宇宙がテーマな長女の学校。教室内は、宇宙に関するものの影絵や、パズル、宇宙の映像や、工作や玩具などが魅力的にレイアウトされています。ほんと居心地がいいの。そのせいか、いつも何で帰らねばならないのと後ろ髪を引かれてしぶしぶ帰る次女が真剣に遊びはじめてしまい、毎朝、大変です。





こちらの歌を教わったようで、家でもよく歌っています。最近は（なんちゃって英語風じゃなく）歌詞を覚えてくるので、どの曲か検索しやすくなりました。

先日のThe UN dayのパレードで娘たちが歌っていたおうたをググってみたら、娘がこれこれ！と教えてくれたので、久々にお歌をメモしにきました。


幼稚園にお迎えにいくと、小学生に「こにちわ」と話しかけられることが急に多くなったのは、パレードにちなんでこの歌を習ったせいかもしれない。子どもに限らず、大人にも、こんにちはと言いながら、手を合わせるゼスチャーをつけて挨拶されるのは、こういう画像の影響なのかしら。





The UN dayに因んで、大陸の歌も、全学年でおこなうサークルタイムで、毎日見せてもらったそうです。





音楽の時間なのか、体育で踊るときなのかあいまいだけど、授業で流して、歌って踊るらしく、娘が大好きな曲。




季節柄なのか、ジンジャーブレッドのお話画像も毎日（少しずつ？）見てるそうです。






幼稚園とは関係ないけど、Youtube で英語のおうたを聴くと、流れてきてた曲はこれだったのね。とついでに見つかった曲。

修了式

長女が通うプリスクールの修了式がありました。学校全体とか学年全体でなく、クラスでこじんまりと執り行われました。入学式がなかったので、こういう行事は海外はやらないのかなと思いこみがあったので、すごく嬉しかったし、この一週間楽しみにしていました（この学校は周知が遅く、一週間前に知った。ちなみに運動会は前日にメールがきた（笑））。

最初に先生が親にあいさつしたあとに、子どもたちが一人ずつ名前を呼ばれて、登場。観客（親）にお辞儀をして着席します。娘は、二番目に登場したのですが、大人がぎっしり座っているのに驚き、戻ろうとして、先生に手をひかれて登場。これで肝が据わったのか、この後はすごく堂々としていました。

子どもたちが歌を三曲披露してくれました。三曲目は、娘が大好きな曲で、この一年間家でも何度もうたってくれて、私もときどきこのメロディを口ずさむようになった「There's a Little Wheel A-Turning In My Heart」でした。娘は握りこぶしをマイクのようにして熱唱していました。この一年の記憶は、この曲とともに思い出されることでしょう。みんなそれぞれ、一生懸命うたってくれてかわいらしかったな。



その後は、修了証書と贈呈品（ちょっとしたゲーム）が手渡されました。名前を呼ばれて、先生と握手、証書を手にして、みんなにお辞儀して着席。全員、できていたし、先生が渡す前に家で開けるようにいったので、品物を開封しようとする子もいなかった。先生との信頼関係ができあがっているんだなと実感した瞬間でした。これで式は終了。年初に手形を取った袋に、この一年間のプロジェクトの作品と白いガウン姿の写真がファイルされて渡されました。

昨年、偶然、空きが出て急遽入園したプリスクール。本来なら、年少さんになる年齢まで家で過ごしてもよかったはずで、、、。でもこの一年間、娘のようすをみてきて、家で私と過ごしただけでは得られなかった多くの経験をできたのが感じられて、私個人としては（これでよかったのかどうかという）心のつかえがようやくとれた気持ちです。

娘は、肌の色、目の色、髪の色が違ういろんな人がいるけど人として変わらないことを学んだし（誰ともまんべんなく遊べるし、先生にも積極的に話しかけていると先生から聞いてる）、世の中、日本語が通じない人ばかりと知ったけれど、でも英語なら意思疎通ができるんだと一生懸命に英語を吸収しているし、逆に日本語を話す人に親しみを感じるようにもなっているような気がする。（少し話がはずれるけど、ノルウェーの幼稚園は当たり前のように男性の先生（アシスタントを含め）がいるのがいい。次の学校ももちろんいる）。はじめての学校で比べるものがないけど、みんなが言うようにとてもいい学校だと思いました（校長が長女の名前だけじゃなく、うちの下娘の名前まで覚えてくれているのがまたすごい）。毎日の送迎で、自然とクラスメイト全員の顔と名前が一致して、ちょくちょくお話ししていた子どもたちなので、私としても会えなくなるのがちょっと寂しいです。（娘がElsa大好きなのをみんな知っていて、朝、登園すると、玄関に何人かが出迎えてきてくれて、たいていそのうちの一人がElsaのフィギュアを握りしめて「〇（娘）、Elsa～」と言ってフィギュアを渡してくれる毎日。もしくは、同じくElsa好きな子が出てきて「My Elsa, you Ana」と言い争っていたりね）

来週から、三週間の夏休みの後、（今の幼稚園で開講している）サマースクールに通います。ニュースレターによると、毎日、フィールドトリップに行き自然と親しみ、二週ごとにテーマを設けて、プロジェクト、ゲーム、劇、音楽、ダンス、体操などをやるのだそうです。写真を見る限り、プリスクール（娘を含む今度年少さんになる子たち）とキンダーガーテン（年長さんまで）の子どもたちが一緒になって過ごすようで、私もちょっとわくわくしています。

次年度から通う学校も、とても評判のよい学校なので、娘の成長が楽しみです。自分に課したいと思っているのは、受け身ばかりはそろそろ卒業すること。（いっしょに子育てにかかわってくれる仲間である）先生とよりよい信頼関係を構築するためにコミュニケーションをより密にして、もっと学校運営にボランティアなどで関わっていくこと（今度の学校ではあらゆることでボランティアの募集があるみたい。クラス代表に立候補する勇気はないけど。）、クラスメイトなどの親同士のコミュニケーションをもう少し積極的に持ちたい。。。と、ここにかけば、自分を追い込めて頑張れるかな（笑）

夏休みを境に人事異動があったようで、図書館のトドラータイムのインストラクターが変わりました。最近はカウンティングや、大小などがテーマになって、知らない歌が増えてきました。旅行に行ったときにも、振付のある曲を覚えていると退屈な飛行機移動でも楽しく過ごせるので（もちろん娘が好きだからですが）、カウントが好きな時期にいるようすの娘と、教わった新しい曲を一緒にやってみようかな。

図書館の（無料）プログラム。今の娘が通えるのは2つあって、最近はToddler Timeに行ってた。だけど今週は、都合でStory & Playに参加。今月は動物がテーマで、この日の絵本は「Fly」、ベビーサインも「Fly」。ここで読まれた本はどう読むのかお手本を見れるので、必ず図書館で借りることにしている。リズムがよい本を紹介してくれることが多いので、娘も気に入って、何度も読んで～ともってくることが多いです。午後のプログラムだったからか、人が少なめで、娘もご機嫌で歌ったり踊ったりしていました。時間が許せばまた参加しようと思う。

この日のお歌は、別カテゴリーで書きに来ることにして、リズムスティックを使って遊んだ2つをメモ：
